Born in Argentina, Living in Scotland and Made in Peru
Pacalpa is a Scottish brand devoted to creating a range of versatile and timeless alpaca garments. The collection emphasises the quality of the yarns, combining Peruvian tradition and creativity, simplicity and attention to detail, at an affordable price.
History
We are the Social Commitment that merges worlds that combine heritage, tradition and empowerment. The expansion of personal horizons, enhancement of human bonds and accumulation of emotions and experiences, instead of just products, are the main objectives of Pacalpa, a 100% family project originated by the Montenegros family, envisioned in Argentina, created in Scotland and manufactured in Peru.
Craftmanship
We are the revaluation of ancestral and autochthonous loom techniques that allow for a dignified and sustainable life, through the hands of Peruvian artisans. The hands that take care of the alpacas, that dexterously manage the process and masterfully carry out the handcrafted finishes. With vibrant determination, we believe in both manufacturing and dignified local work, bringing well-being to the Peruvian highlands and the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with its colourful enchantments and the strength of the region’s dreams.
Mission
Through the luxurious alpaca fibre, Pacalpa is destined to follow its owns path on the great road of life using responsible sourcing and manufacturing techniques. The Montenegros family envisioned alpaca garments as a canvas for artistic expression and a celebration of superior craftsmanship. Our goal is to expand and evolve from here.
